    Firstly, a huge shout-out from our Principal, Mrs. Davis! She wanted to send a big warm welcome to all our new families joining the Kingston Primary School community.     Back to School Highlights

    The first few weeks back have been absolutely buzzing with excitement! The halls are filled with the energy of eager learners, and it's truly inspiring to witness. Teachers have been working tirelessly to set the stage for a successful year, introducing new routines, classroom expectations, and, of course, some seriously engaging lessons! We’ve seen the students flourish. From kindergarteners exploring their classrooms with wide eyes to older students reconnecting with friends and diving into challenging subjects, the atmosphere has been overwhelmingly positive. A highlight has been the warm welcome extended to our new students, who have quickly integrated into the school community. We also want to give a special shout-out to all the parents and guardians who helped get their kids ready and back to school, it's not always easy. We are so grateful for your collaboration and support. In Math, we are building on our students’ existing skills and providing new challenges. We're using practical tools and problem-solving activities to help students understand math concepts better. We are planning fun activities to make math more interesting! And in English, our goal is to build our students’ reading and writing skills. We want to improve your child's reading comprehension. We will encourage them to express themselves with creative writing, and share their stories. We are implementing new digital tools to promote learning. We are very excited to announce that we are introducing a new digital literacy program. We hope that these new resources will help them in learning.     Student Spotlights

    We love to celebrate the amazing achievements of our students! Each month, we'll be highlighting some of the awesome things our students are doing both inside and outside the classroom. This month, we want to recognize two amazing students, Sarah, from the 3rd grade, and Tom, from the 5th grade, both of whom have really shone in their recent endeavors. Sarah has demonstrated incredible dedication in her art class, creating beautiful artwork. She is learning a great deal about art, and she is an inspiration to her classmates. Tom has shown a particular knack for problem-solving in math, consistently acing challenging problems and enthusiastically helping his classmates. Tom also spends a lot of time volunteering his time to others, as well. These students embody the values of hard work, perseverance, and kindness that we strive to instill in all our students. Keep up the amazing work, guys! We're so proud of both of you!

    Class Achievements

    In addition to individual spotlights, we also want to celebrate some of the fantastic achievements of our classes. A big round of applause to the 4th-grade class for winning the school-wide reading challenge last month! They devoured books and showed a great enthusiasm for reading. We're so proud! The students worked as a team to reach their goal. They even motivated the whole school to read more. Kudos to the 2nd-grade class for their outstanding performance in the recent science fair. Their innovative projects and presentations impressed everyone, and they really showcased their scientific minds. The 1st grade class also deserves recognition for their outstanding participation in the school’s fun run. The students showed great determination. They had fun while contributing to a good cause. We are so proud of all the students who participated. These accomplishments are a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the students and their teachers.
